About this service

GHMS operates a walk-in service across our regular clinic hours (9:00–17:00, Monday to Sunday). Just turn up — no appointment, no NHS registration, no referral. Most walk-ins are triaged within 5 minutes and seen by a doctor within 15.

Urgent care covers anything from minor injuries to acute illness: cuts that need stitching, suspected infections, severe migraines, allergic reactions, kids with fevers, sports injuries, ear and throat infections (Dr Ismail's ENT specialty is particularly useful here).

Outside clinic hours, our 24/7 home and hotel visit service covers the same range of care — see the Home & Hotel Visits page.

Common questions

When should I call 999 instead of walking in?
If you have chest pain, severe difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, heavy bleeding, or any life-threatening symptoms — call 999 first. We're for urgent but non-life-threatening care.
Will I really be seen within 15 minutes?
On average, yes. If we're at capacity during a busy hour, our reception team will give you an honest wait estimate so you can decide.
What if I need help outside clinic hours?
Our home and hotel visit service operates 24/7 across central London — call us on 020 7244 8885 day or night and a doctor will come to you.
