Our story
GHMS — Global Health Medical Services — was founded in December 2014 by Dr Helmi Ismail on a simple premise: people in central London should be able to see a competent GP when they need one, not when the system decides it can fit them in.
A decade on, we operate a walk-in clinic from Kenway Road in Earl’s Court — open 09:00 to 17:00, every day of the year. Outside those hours, or if you can’t travel to us, a doctor will come to you. The 24/7 doctor home and hotel visit service is one of the few in London that genuinely runs around the clock.
The clinic is CQC registered, all our doctors are GMC registered, and clinical governance is overseen by Prof Gedis Grudzinskas — Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and a Harley Street consultant in his own right.
Most of our patients come from the Earl’s Court and Kensington area, with a strong international and expat patient base who don’t have an NHS GP and need straightforward private care — especially same-day appointments, travel vaccinations, and discreet home or hotel visits.

Patients aren't problems to triage
Every walk-in is seen by a fully qualified doctor — not a triage nurse, not a junior. We treat the issue in front of us, not the queue.

Pricing should be obvious before you consent
Every service has a published 'from £X' price. Any additional costs are quoted and agreed before treatment. No surprises on the invoice.

Walk-in clinic 9–5 every day of the year — including weekends and bank holidays. Plus 24/7 doctor home and hotel visits across central London.

You don't need to be a UK resident, registered with an NHS GP, or fluent in English. We see anyone who needs a doctor.
